I bought a blue shirt and it is very lightweight, takes up very little space and is a lovely deep blue color. Looks like it will be great for travel, backpacking. It is so incredibly lightweight.I normally I wear women's size 10, rarely a size 12, waist 29 inches. The lightweight women's Large was completely form-fitting, as in showing every bulge. Alpaca is stretchy and is supposed to stretch out a bit, so I hope it does to make it a bit looser. Anyone over size 12, I would not recommend the shirt.I wore the top for a 30 minute walk, temperature was in low 70's F but breezy, bright sunshine, and was a bit too warm. The shirt should work well as an insulating undershirt in much colder weather.I have sensitive skin and the fabric does feel a little itchy. As you wear it and wash it, alpaca is supposed to get softer. I'm hoping it stretches out and smooths out some, as it is supposed to do.
