This game is excellent. I'm not a huge fan of social deduction games, but the new spin this card game puts on it, were discovering the other player's roles helps, but doesn't, in and of itself, win or lose the game, vastly improves my enjoyment of play. When I'm a Villager, I can apply my logic to the clues the other players have provided and attempt to deduce what roles they have, and thus whether or not to trust them, but even if I never figure out who amongst the players is a Werewolf, all that really matters is do we succeed in killing off the NPC village werewolves or not. And if I'm a Werewolf, keeping my role secret is generally necessary, but not absolutely vital. As the rules recommend, it often will be more beneficial to the overall game to let the other players discover your a Werewolf than to sacrifice one of the village werewolves you're trying to protect. It adds a whole new level of strategic thinking. Great game design.
