The original monopoly game sounded fun, but what you get is the alpha version of monopoly. There have been several upgrades to make the game more playable in the form we now know it. In the original version the board does not have the cost of the property indicated. The property cards do not have the backside printed with the pertinent mortgage information. The original tokens are not that exciting. So all in all the later versions have been upgraded to enhance playability.Even in board games the later versions are superior.
