Dominion, that’s what you’re trying to achieve. This time with animals! They each have a lesson to teach, whether it’s how to spit really far, or what kind of grass tastes the best. It’s a lot to keep track of, but you’re like an elephant: you remember everything. And you’re afraid of mice. You’ve taken up riding. Horses are intimidating; they say you can lead a horse to water, but you haven’t managed it. So you’re working your way up, starting with dogs. So far so good; the dog hasn’t bucked you off yet. Your menagerie got off to a poor start, with just a goat, two rats, and the advisor who suggested starting a menagerie. You couldn’t get that fox you wanted, but it was probably bad anyway. Now you’ve got some camels, which are just as useless for sewing as you’d been warned, and a turtle that can hold its breath for longer than anyone can stay interested. Soon the animal kingdom will be yours. This is the 13th expansion to Dominion . It has 400 cards, with 30 new Kingdom cards. There are Horses that save a draw for later, Exile mats that cards can be sent to and rescued from, and Ways that give Actions another option. Events return. Dominion: Menagerie is an expansion, and cannot be played by itself; to play with it, you need the Basic cards and rulebook (Dominion provides both). Dominion: Menagerie can also be combined with any other Dominion expansions you have. We hope you enjoy this expanding world of Dominion!
For 2-4 Players. Ages 14+. 30 minute playing time

We have all of the current Dominion games. Excellent and challenging series of table games with a near infinite variety of play combinationsThis game sucks you in. It is great. You have about 20 different stacks of cards, and the game takes ten, so you can use different stacks to make the game different each time. When you get tired of that, you can buy the expansion packs which offer you even more options.Easily modified to make the game quick or longer. Good for two players up to six, but you'll need to look up modified rules to play with six. The game lists 2-4 players, but adding more is easy. There are suggested deck modifications on the interweb that tell you how to play with more.Definitely a must-have if you like deck-building games.First off, before you buy this, make sure you already own the dominion base game. THIS IS AN EXPANSION.Now that we’ve got that out of the way, this expansion is excellent. The cards in this set are not too complex so I think it’d make a great second or third expansion to your dominion collection. If you’re brand new to dominion, I’d probably recommend getting Seaside, Prosperity, Intrigue, or Hinterlands before you buy this one since those sets are a bit less complicated. In addition to the base game, I own Menagerie, Hinterlands, and Dark Ages. Of those three, this is my favorite expansion. The ‘Exile’ mechanic adds some interesting new strategies, and there are some good attack and reaction cards (which I always look for, since they increase interaction among players).Personally I don’t care much for the Ways or Events. We tend to forget all about them while we are playing and rarely end up actually using them during most games.Fantastic addition to an already great game. We own every expansion for Dominion. With 10 stacks of card randomly chosen for all players to buy from there is no draw advantage. This is the most advanced set to date and I would recommend it to fans who are already very familiar with the game.I'm a Dominion fanatic, and I have found this set particularly enjoyable. I love the variety and flexibility that the new "Way" cards can add to the game. I also love the addition of the Horse (basically a single-use Laboratory - +2 Cards, +1 Action) that multiple cards can let you gain. In terms of complexity, I would say this set is moderate.Once again Donald X. Vaccarino has shown that there is still more that can be done with Dominion. I'm not so sure I like the horses but I see how they can speed up the game a little bit. Not my favorite expansion but it is still a good one. They always have the best way to describe different ways that each card can be used. They have always had really good instructions in any of the games. We love this game!!It ticked all boxes was exactly what was described and arrived on timeOne of the most powerful sets, changes the action play-ability. One issue it makes some over power combos, when mixed with other sets or makes some cards valueless form other sets.Horsesies and Sheepdog are great!!
