Inspired by classic video games, Boss Monster challenges you to become a villain, build a dungeon, lure in adventurers… and destroy them! Players compete to see who can lure and destroy the most adventurers. But beware! You must make your dungeon as deadly as it is attractive, or the puny heroes might kill you first! In Boss Monster you're no longer stuck playing those boring old heroes, delving the same old dungeons. This time you get to be the bad guy at the end of the dungeon, luring in hapless heroes and slaying them. To slay those heroes you've got an arsenal of traps and monster at your disposal. Build out the Minotaur's Maze to slow heroes down, or uncover a Bottomless Pit to catch them unawares. Boss Monster is quick and easy to learn. A 2-Player game takes only 20-30 minutes. I’m a senior and my “kids” are middle-aged and we had so much fun on his birthday with Boss Monster’s next level above the beginning game. I bought the whole pack of games and gave them as a super splurge birthday present after my ”kid” had introduced me to the original Boss Monster game and I found it was intriguing. I am keeping the original Boss Monster game for my house, too. Each deal is different and it is challenging to strategize. I’m old-fashioned and find it slightly disturbing that I have to try to take out the hero’s as I prefer to root for the good guys, but it’s such a fun game, I’ve had to get past the image.The quality was notably worse from the original game. The cards were thinner and the colors were slightly off. The content of the expansion packs were very good. I would give one star for quality but 5 stars for content.Is a great add on for the boss monster game. It's tons and new cards that keeps the game going. Is one of our favorite games to play. Hopefully they make more add ons.Recommend buying boss monster 2 as most add-ons assume you have that.I'm a big box game conoseuir. I played this game once at a game shop and knew I wanted the whole series to add to my collection. I was able to teach this game to my partner in less than 10 mins and we enjoy throwing down a match here and there. This game is also great for groups .Easy to play and learn. Highly recommend.
