Only the second book in the Becky Bing series, the story holds your attention and curiosity from the opening chapter. The author's attention to detail, scene setting descriptions, and character profiles has you constantly trying to figure out the mystery and trying to solve the caper. I actually thought I had it figured out at two or three different times and not until the final chapter was I proven wrong. A real mind teaser, well written to throw you off the tracks of the real criminals.The Becky Bing series is great reading, and with the story line and characters in the novel is a fast moving and fast reading book. The Midnight Ride is the next in this series and based on the first two, Hook Island and Summer Games;should be just as intriguing if not more. Definitely would be a great TV series for both young adults and older, and already is great reading for both.
